Session Notes:

Jimmy dropped by one day to help me out by playing this spot-on and perfectly-suited fretless part and wound up hanging out most of the day programming this unobtrusive drum track. I remember we joked about trying to create a track that might sound like our friend Claudio Slon (a rather large fellow) playing a children's kit. We ate some pasta. Jimmy and I have worked so much together in the past, either on Yellowjackets records, my records or our other collaborations, it's always like old home week when he shows up. I was equally grateful for Julie's contribution to this track. I've long been a fan of Julie's soulful voice and artistic vision. I owe a debt to both of them for their contributions to this pleasantly straightforward tune.
